Hello fellow readers!
Well friends,
It’s over 100 and that can only mean one thing––it’s the end of August. That means we are getting all fired up and ready for school and that our summer reading is coming to an end. We are having our final meeting of the Books are Good lunchtime reading club on Wednesday at noon in the Library Lincoln Room. We have enjoyed reading and talking and eating and we hope you have too! So, join us tomorrow for the final meeting. From our conversations this summer, it is apparent to me that we have a vibrant reading community on campus. I would love to encourage any of you that have book groups that meet during the school year to make use of the rich library resources (both in books and space) available to the La Sierra community! The library thrives when you read and when you send your students to read.
